1) Website Objective: Develop a strategic vision for the site with a clearly defined set of goals. What exactly do we want the website to accomplish? What messages do we want our visitors to take away? How will the website be used to produce quantifiable results in terms of increased sales, customer satisfaction, lower costs, etc?
2) User Experience: With the right set of visual cues, we can provide our visitors with a better sense of direction. From the main entry page, the website should be able to determine the type of visitor. Is this person here to browse? Does this person need something specific? Is the visitor(customer) shopping around, having yet to make a final decision? (What's it going to take for the visitor to choose us over a competitor?)
3) Branding: Website design, functionality and "problem solving effectiveness" - How does the website reinforce or define customer perceptions about the company?
